Death
We regret to have to report that despite the attention of Drs. Thomas and Sugden, the young man LONGWELL, who broke his leg at the Kolan crossing died in the Hospital on Saturday morning. The wounded limb was amputated on Friday, but tetanus had set in and he succumbed. Deceased was respectably connected and generally liked by his fellow craftsmen -- saddlers. (BM 20 Apr 1886)
