Mildred "Patty" Ah Yo, 89, of Honomu, died June 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Oct. 9, 1918, in Hakalau, she was a housewife and member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Honomu.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. July 2 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 9 a.m. July 3 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests aloha attire be worn and flowers be omitted.
She is survived by daughter, Gabriela (Ron) Kelley, of Green City, Mo.; sons, Nicholas (Carol) Ah Yo, Casimir (Harvelee) Ah Yo, both of Hilo; sister, Violet (Bill) Osborn, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
