"Mrs. Lydia Losee Ackley, wife of Benjamin G. Ackley, died Monday at 9:30 a. m., at West Oneonta. Mrs. Ackley's illness extended through a period of several months, in which she sought relief from various sources, but her search was in vain. During the past few weeks her decline has been rapid and she suffered intensely at times. Mrs. Ackley was born January 23, 1853. She was twice married, November 22, 1876, to Arthur Bowen, and December 22, 1897, to B. G. Ackley, who with two children Claire and Rene Ackley, survive her. Besides these she leaves three brothers, William Losee of Hurricane, West Va., Leroy Losee of Fergusonville, and James Losee of Oneonta. She was a lifelong member of the Free Baptist church of West Oneonta and was actively identified with all its enterprises ... Funeral services were held at the house on Wednesday at 2 p. m., the Rev.
