BOUNTIFUL-- Columbia Loveland Argyle, age 98, passed away Friday, August 11, 2000 in Bountiful, Utah. Born March 20, 1902 in Chesterfield, Idaho, the daughter of Carlos Heber and Elizabeth Higginson Loveland.
Married Leland M. Argyle August 19, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, July 8, 1996. She enjoyed sharing her artwork and stitchery with her family and friends. She enjoyed her many associations with friends, her numerous church callings, the Idaho Club and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers of which she has been a member for 68 years. Columbia has lived at the Bountiful House for the past year and the family appreciates the warmth and tender care given to Mother.
Survived by her daughters, Mrs. Karleen Winegar (Richard), Bountiful; Mrs. Doris Keith, Bountiful; Mrs. LaVinia Robins (Moreno), Provo; Mrs. Donna Wood (Glenn) Farmington; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 63 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2000 at the West Bountiful 3rd Ward Chapel, 840 North 800 West. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and again Monday morning from 11:45-12:45 p.m. at the church. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
