Mildred Sue Anderson, 65, of Paris died of cancer Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at her residence.

Her funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Scottie Davis, pastor of West Paris Baptist Church, and Dwayne Thomas, a hospice chaplain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers are Wayne Wyatt, Jerome Rowland, Kevin Williams, Ray Phifer, Bobby Lowe and Roger Camp.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after noon Thursday.

Born Dec. 14, 1942, in Henry County, she was a daughter of Otis Vestus Lowe and Annie Lois Owen Lowe, now both deceased.

She was a homemaker and a member of West Paris Baptist Church.

She leaves two daughters: Janice Sue (Ricky) Melton of Springville and Margaret Ann (Barry) Madding of Paris; three sons: Charles David Anderson and Ricky Eugene (Dawn) Anderson, both of Paris and Eddie Dale (Jennifer) Anderson of New Concord;

Five sisters: Marie Hampton, Ruth Camp, Faye Capps, Norma Phifer and Linda Bates, all of Paris; two brothers: Ray and Bobby Lowe, both of Paris; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-stepgrandchildren; and her former husband Charles R. Anderson of Paris.

She also was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Lowe.
