She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was a retired homemaker.
She was united in marriage to John Charles Boggs on August 12, 1970.
Survivors include one son and one daughter: Michael Lobb of Greensburg and Johneatha Boggs of Campbellsville; three granchildren: Kelly Wilhoit, Xay Fugate, and Ziah Boggs all of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Alexis Lobb, Ashley Wilhoit, and Samantha Wilhoit, all of Campbellsville; a sister and brother-in-law: Carol and Russell Dial of Greensburg.
Mrs. Boggs was also preceded in death by a son, Todd Price and a half brother, Frankie Lawson.
Died as the result of an automobile accident. Her husband, John Boggs, died as a result of this accident, too.
Martha married Dennis Lobb in Tennessee on August 10, 1960. They later divorced. She married John Charles Boggs on August 12, 1970.
I came to know Martha when she lived in Greensburg, KY. She sold Avon and was involved in beauty pageants. Her passion for pageants was the driving force of our friendship. We could talk on the phone for hours.
She will forever be missed.
