He was the son of the late Benjamin Pollard and Mrs. Imogen Thompson Loyall. He was a member of Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B.P.O. Elks.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosella Liebert Loyall, and one brother, W.H.T. Loyall, of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 3:30 p.m. at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments by the Rev. Dr. W. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
