and Ann Bethoney (Joseph) of Medfield.
Cherished Papa of 11 grandchildren.
Also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Born and raised in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and Northeastern University.
Walter was a mechanical engineer for 37 years at Polaroid Corporation.
He touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, intellect and zest for life and will be missed by all that knew him.
SERVICE:
Tuesday, January 20th, Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.
at St. Theresa of Avila Church,
2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury.
Private interment at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne will be held at a later date.
U.S. Army Veteran Korean Conflict.
