Bertha Manning Blackmon - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in a local health care facility. She was a member of Haven Woods Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Blackmon. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara B. (Royce) Roper; two grandchildren, Richard Roper and Rachel (Josh) Flowers; three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaleb Roper and Rhett Flowers; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Manning, all of Wilmer, AL; and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from Haven Woods Baptist Church. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy., Saraland, AL 36571.
