Antoinette M. (Markunas) Bowlen, 93 years of age, entered Life Eternal at Brockton Hospital on Monday, August 2, 20l0. She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Ignatius and Constance Markunas. She was the wife of the late James J. Bowlen and mother of the late Joseph J. Bowlen. She is survived by a son Robert J. Bowlen of Easton and by two daughters, Janet M. Hubley of Holbrook and Patricia M. Sullivan of Michigan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Antoinette was a homemaker devoted to her family. She resided in Holbrook for the past several years and was a former longtime resident of Abington and Hyde Park. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and crocheting as well as reading. A prayer service will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck | Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., BRAINTREE on Thursday, August 5 at l2:00 noon. Visiting hours will precede the prayer service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the prayer service. Burial will be in Saint Patricks Cemetery, Rockland. Relatives and friends are invited.
