Alfred E. Martin of Gulf Sores, Alabama, formerly of Knoxville, passed away March 18, 1998. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, and an official for the TSSAA for 40 years. He was a retired employee of Rohm & Haas with 45 years service.
Survivors are his wife, Marion Booker Martin; daughters, Kathy Haymes of Atlanta, Georgia, and Karen Calhoun of Knoxville. Grandchildren, Aaaon and Rachel Calhoun and a nephew, David Price of Knoxville.
Friends and family met at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. John Holland officiating. Mynatts in charge of arrangements.
