Mr. Charlie Edward Mason, 88, passed away July 8, 2011 at Kosciusko Veterans Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday, July 11, 2011 at Lakewood South Cemetery in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, July 11, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS.

Mr. Mason was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He retired after many years of service at Fowler Buick where he worked as an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Forest Hill Masonic Lodge and is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Edna Hazel Mason.

Mr. Mason is survived by his son, Joe Mason and wife Judy of Brandon; daughters, E. J. Best and husband Bill of Perry, LA and Judy Gipson of Brandon; brother, Claude Mason of Richland; grandchildren, Brad Mason, Brian Mason and Will Best; great grandchildren, Wes Mason and Emme Mason.
