Mrs. Elmer Bryant Dies; Services Held Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer (Mary Lucy) Bryant were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the First Christian Church with Minister Ron Whisman officiating. Burial followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Barry Funeral in charge. She was 60.
Mrs. Bryant died Monday morning at her home in Okolona after suffering a heart attack. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She leaves her husband, Elmer Bryant; three daughters, Mrs. J. D. Baker and Mrs. Hugh Caradine, both of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Q. R. Claunch of Okolona; a brother, William Mason of Vernon, Ala., two sisters, Mrs. Mellie Hall of Okolona and Mrs. Hattie McKinney of Mooreville; a half brother, W. C. Mason of Shannon; and two half sisters, Mrs. Jacob Mallory of Shannon and Mrs. Lawrence Davis of Fulton.
