Marilyn R. Mason Cooper, 70, of East Brunswick died on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick, followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Born in Boston, Mrs. Cooper lived in Paterson before moving to East Brunswick 37 years ago. She was a pre-school teacher and a lifelong member of the East Brunswick Garden Club. She was also active in the N.J. State Garden Club. Mrs. Cooper was predeceased by a brother, Randall Mason. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Garry; two daughters, Jennifer Possenriede and her husband, Ken, of Moorestown, and Laurel Cooper and her husband, Jeff Simons, of Stamford, Conn., and three grandchildren, Emily and Alex Possenriede and Annaliese Simons.
