Betty Jean Massay, 75 of Sanger, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born February 8, 1939 in Denton to Eugene Bryan and Etta Mae (Duncan) Floyd. She was a graduate of Denton High School and a member of the Bolivar Baptist Church. She was retired from the Denton Independent School District in Food Service. She was married to Dennis Wilson Massay on June 4, 1956 in Denton and he died January 27, 2009.

Mrs. Massay is survived by two sons, Charles Eugene Massay of Denton, and Darell Glen Massay of Winnsboro, TX six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Denise Crabb.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, With Rev. Dickie Amyx, officiating.
