Mrs. Edna B. Hendricks, 85, a former resident of Ray Ave. died Monday morning February 8, in Carroll County Home following a lengthy illness. Born October 26, 1896 in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Nora (Guess) Massay. She was a former school teacher for 35 years in Carroll County, a life resident of the county and a member of the Carrollton Church of Christ (Christian)

Her husband was the late Manuel Hendricks. Three brothers also preceded her in death. Services were held Wednesday at Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sweeney officiating. Burial was held in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
