ASHTABULA — Louise Marie Church, age 57, of West 13th St., died Sunday, June 26, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

She was born Feb. 25, 1954, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Steve C. and Catherine (Romano) Massi and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident.

A 1972 graduate of St. John High School, she had been a cafeteria worker for the Ashtabula Area City Schools for over 25 years.

A caring mother and wife, you could call her for anything you needed. Louise was a great organizer and took immaculate care of her home and yard, always decorating extensively for the all holidays. She was a big fan of Diet Coke and ham salad, and enjoyed her motorcycle rides. She loved her boys dearly and always referred to them as "My Bobby" and "My Jason".

A member of the American Legion Post #103, she also attended Mother of Sorrows Church.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert R. Church, whom she married Jan. 6, 1973; two sons, Robert S. "Bobby" (Mary) Church of Ashtabula and Jason (Jill Pessefall) Church of Stow; her mother, Catherine Massi of Ashtabula; one brother, Manny (B.J.) Massi of Ashtabula; her niece and goddaughter, Lyndee Marie (Nick) Bodnar; and two granddogs, "Harley and Dakota".

She was preceded in death by her father, Steve C. Massi.

Calling Hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 30th, at the ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. The American Legion Auxiliary will perform their Memorial Service at 5 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, July 1st, at Mother of Sorrows Church, 1514 West 6th St., Ashtabula. Fr. Joseph Ruggieri will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
