She was born October 10, 1934 in Rochester, Indiana, and resided in Anderson for the last 55 years.
Elsie was a homemaker.
She and her husband enjoyed camping and fishing. Elsie had a strong love for her kids and dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert "Bob" Anderson; children, Teresa (Steve) Oldham of Anderson, Michael Anderson of Indianapolis and Cheryl (Brian) Madison of Anderson; six grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd & Helen (Burnett) Mathias; two brothers, Keith and Ralph Mathias; and daughter-in-law, Heidi Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson.
Services will be Friday, December 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ned Clark officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
