ADAMS Dorothy L. (Matthews) age 75, died Monday, April 22, 2013. Beloved wife for fifty-seven years of Lambi "Al" Adams. Devoted mother of Eleanor Adams of South Boston, Christopher Adams, B.P.D. of Dorchester, Carole Doody and her husband Robert of Quincy, Lisa Adams of Lynn and Richard Adams and his wife Lisa of Quincy. Loving Nana of Christen Brand of Roxbury, Eric Adams of Dorchester, Samuel, Jacqueline and Gabrielle Doody of Quincy, Henry and Hunter Adams of Quincy and great-grandmother of Amari and Nyla of Roxbury. Dear sister of Diane Minnelli and her husband Dominic of Hernando, FL, Chester Matthews and his wife Diana of Mesa, AZ, Thomas Matthews and his wife Mary of Braintree, Nancy Chomo and her husband Steven of Holden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Saint George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral Boston, 523 East Broadway, South Boston, Friday, April 26th at 11:00 A.M. Visitation at the church from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will also be visiting hours at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, QUINCY on Thursday, April 25 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. At the family's request, interment services at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be private.
