Beverly-- Thelma L.(Maxon) Ahearn, 65, died Sunday at home after a long illness.
Born in Brookline, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Emily (Wearin)Maxon, and a graduate of Brookline High School.
She was a lab technician at Mass.Memorial Hospital, Boston, before moving to Beverly. For the past 18 years she was employed at Mass. General Hospital as a nursing assistant.
Survivors nclude: daughters, Kathleen and Maureen Ahearn of Beverly; sons, Patrick and Kevin of Beverly and Paul Ahearn of Boxford; sisters: Geraldine Maxon, M. Elaine Burham of Lincoln and Gladys Lawton of Tuscon, AZ; brothers: Matthew Maxon of TX.; Charles Maxon, and John Maxon of California; three grandchildren: Colleen Ahearn of Beverly, Heather Ahearn of Boxford and Brian Ahearn of Fairfax, Va.; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emily Matson and the former wife of John P. Ahearn of Anthony, Fla.
Burial in Central Cemetery, Bevferly.
