A Rosary will be prayed at 4:45 PM Monday, January 30, 2017 followed by a visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Street, Lenexa, KS. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 31 at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 North 14th Street, Kansas City, KS. Burial in Mt Calvary Mausoleum, Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Cathedral of St. Peter or Bishop Ward High School.

She was a graduate of Bishop Ward High School in 1971. She loved KU Sports and anything her sons and grandchildren were involved in. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Kling, Jr., father Edward Mayfield and sister Susan Clem.
She is survived by her mother Mary E. Mayfield, her sons; Dennis and Erin Kling, Ryan and Kate Kling, grandchildren Anastasia and Owen, her siblings; Mike Mayfield, Jane Janes (Dave), John Mayfield(Joanne), Dan Mayfield(Carolyn), Tom Mayfield(Julie), Margaret Looper(Darin), Ed Mayfield(Julie), brother-in-law Marvin Clem and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
