Vickie L. Osborne Hayner, 59, entered her Heavenly rest on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born March 21, 1955 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Russell and Shirley Wright Osborne.

She is survived by
her husband of 36 years, Thomas (Tom) F. Hayner;
a daughter, Valerie D. Moore of Huntington;
two sons, Gregory D. Baldridge (Lillian) of South Point and Tommy Joe Hayner (Heejeong), serving in the US Navy in Key West, FL;
a brother, Gerald (Jerry) Osborne (Beth) of South Point; two sisters, Susan Henry (Chris Fortner) of Huntington and Kimberly Collins (Wes) of Chillicothe, OH;
a special uncle who was raised as a brother, Earl B. Wright (Janet) of Middletown, OH;
eight grandchildren, Anthony Williams, Brittany Baldridge, serving the US Army at Ft. Sill, OK, Zachary, Brandon, Jacob and Willow Baldridge, respectively, Shirley and Gladys Hayner, respectively;
many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Vickie's love for people was shared through her Christian faith. She sent cards, letters and care packages to servicemen and women around the world and to those in incarceration encouraging them to strive forward in Christ and lead new lives. She was also known for her love of cooking and family gatherings.

Funeral service at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH.
