Barbara Jean (Maynor) Braley of Bonham, Texas passed away on August 20, 2016 at the age of 68. She was born on July 3, 1948 to Wilburn Weldon and Ruby Lee (Lang) Maynor in Denison, Texas. Barbara attended schools in Plano ISD. She married Horace Braley on June 10, 1964 in Allen, Texas. They recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. In 1993, they moved to Fannin, where she started her home childcare. Barbara retired after 20 years of caring for other people’s children. Her family remembers her love for fishing.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Horace Braley; daughter, Sherry Foreman and husband, Kevin; son, Craig Braley and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Ashley Moore and husband, Chase, Cody Braley, Blossom Parker and boyfriend, Austin, Brittany Braley, Madison Foreman, Sarah Foreman and fiancé, Jake; great-grandchildren, Kynslee Moore, Bralee Moore, Taylin Allen, Charlie Kade Moore; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Wilburn and Ruby Lee Maynor; son, Greg Braley; brother, Dwayne Manor; and sister, Pat Altizen.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
