Bobbye Maynor Arp, 79, of Hixson, TN died on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.
Bobbye retired from DuPont Corporation and was a member of Daisy United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Arp; two sons, Mike and Steve Walker; a grandson, Colin Walker; and her parents, Scott and Eliza Maynor.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Jackson and Lisa McDaniel; grandchildren, Chad Uren, Nicholas Jackson, Jamie (Tommy) Brown, Stephanie Smith and her fiancée Kevin Cheek, Cody (Robin) Walker, Joe (Amanda) McDaniel and Tara McDaniel and her fiancée Kacie Gudel; great-grandchildren, Damon and Kensey Brown, Jade Smith, AuBree Cheek, David, Destiny and Hunter McDaniel and Kayden Gudel; brothers, Raymond and Donald Maynor; a sister, Shirley Barnes; daughter-in-law, Cindy Walker; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010 and 10 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the North Chapel.
Services for Bobbye will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel with Rev. Lynn Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or to the Roof Fund at Daisy United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
