Wellington, FL - Alice M. (McCarthy) Barros, age 93, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2015 in Florida, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Barros and the daughter of the late William and Alice (Sweeney) McCarthy.
Alice was born in Foxborough on October 14, 1921, where she was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1939. She and her husband John were married in Foxborough in 1942. She was a resident of Wellington, FL for the past ten years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Beloved mother of Janis Brunell and her husband Thomas of Wellington, FL and Sharon Fein and her husband Lee of NY, NY. Loving grandmother of Kris Brunell of Wellington, FL. Sister of the late former Foxborough Chief of Police, Daniel McCarthy.
