Wife, of 19 years, to Albert A. Abraham III and mother of Ryan and Brady. She was the daugther of Vincent and Mary (Wrigley) McCarthy. She attended the West school and Tenney Middle school, and graduated from Methuen High School in 1982. She received a bachelor's in teaching from Fitchburg State College in 1986, and a master's degree in education from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. She was a lifelong Methuen resident.
For two years, she taught at the Elliot School in Lowell. For the past 18 years, she was a special education teacher and team leader of the Special Education Department at Windham Middle School in New Hampshire.
She attended St. Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence, and was a past officer of St. Anthony's Sodality. She was also a member of the National Education Association.
