Mrs. Harvey Bennett
Bradford - Friends of the late Mrs. Bertha Bennett, 76, of 9 Scott Ave., Bradford, are being received this afternoon and evening at the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday (Nov, 6, 1964).Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett died Tuesday (Nov, 3. 1964) in Buffalo General Hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 31. She had been in failing health for six months.
She was born June 13, 1888 and married Harvey E. Bennett who died in 1938. She had lived in Bradford since 1927, She attended the Bradford Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are four sons, Harry J. Bennett, Eugene H. Bennett and Charles B. Bennett, all of Bradford, and Bud G. Bennett of Tonawanda, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Olszaway of Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. Ruth Bowers of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, George McCracken of Buchanan Hollow and James McCracken of Weedville; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
