NEW CASTLE — Mrs. Mary Byers. Resident of Pulaski Township Passes Peacefully Away at Her Home.

Mrs. Mary Byers died Thursday evening at the family residence in Pulaski township at the advanced age of 87 years.

Mrs. Byers whose maiden name was McCracken, was raised in Mercer county. Her husband, Ambrose Byers died in 1888. Their early married life was spent near West Middlesex, but for more than forty years the family home ha been a farm a couple of miles south of this village.

The children who survive the deceased are John F. Of Minneapolis, Minn., Charles, of Talmadge, Kansas; Orid, Alpheus and Horace of Seattle, Wash., Lizzie, Carrie and Lawrence at home.

Mrs. Byers was for many years a faithful member of the U.P. Church at New Bedford.

The funeral will be held at the home Monday afternoon at one o'clock and will be followed by interment at Hopewell cemetery, New Bedford.
