Madge M. McGann Bradford, 90, of Manlius, passed away Friday at the home of her daughter. Her husband, Darst C. Bradford, died in 1981. She leaves her daughter, Meredith Perry of Worcester, MA; two granddaughters, Sarah Dreon and her husband, Allen of Attleboro, MA, and Elizabeth Perry of Westborough, MA; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Paige Dreon; a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Donald and Frank J. McGann, predeceased her. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Frank J. and Kathleen (Daily) McGann and graduated from Central High School, Syracuse City Normal and Syracuse University. Mrs. Bradford was a kindergarten teacher in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Zion Methodist Church and its women's club and volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Newell-Fay Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 8171 Cazenovia Road (Route 92), Manlius. Contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211 or to UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
