Myron B. "Mac' McGauley. 53. of 62 Inn Road. died Thursday in the Battle Creek Veterans Administration Hospital after being in ill health six months.
McGauley was born in Brentwood. Ga. and moved to Battle Creek in 1947. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a former employe of the Oliver Corp. for eight years and worked as a painter until he retired in 1967 because of ill health. He a member of VFW Post 5319 of Athens.
He is survived by his widow, the former Cathryn A. Kitley: a son. James William McGauley of 255 Sunwood Drive: daughters. Mrs. Robert (Maryann) Murphy of 88 W. Grand Circle Mrs. John (Yvonne) Reeves of Dundee. Fla., and Miss Edna Ave.,[sic] McGauley at home: three granddaughters: a sister. Mrs. Sam (Susie) Beaver of Jesup, Ga., and a brother, Theron McGauley, also of Jesup.
