She was the beloved mother of Linda Austin Ferguson (David Norwood) of Marlton, and the late Sharon Austin.
She is survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Stuelke; and two nieces.
Joyce was born in West Chester, and retired as a New Jersey state senior corrections officer. She was very grateful to serve the Lord in this capacity.
After retirement, she worked for Walmart in Lumberton, a store she helped open in 2000.
She considered herself a Christian woman and devout member of Fountain of Life Church in Florence.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions in Joyce's name to The Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Burlington, NJ 08016.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
