A native of Philadelphia, Pa., she was born Sept. 13, 1923, a daughter of Philip and Maria Dispels McMahon. She grew up in Philadelphia and had worked as a secretary in New York City for many years.
She and her husband, who died in 2007, lived in New York City before moving to Ridgefield in 1968.
Here, she was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and other handiwork.
Survivors include a brother, James F. McMahon of Levittown, Pa., and a sister, Lois Parker of Suffield.
Services are private.
Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
