Amelia Petrow McMahon, age 90 of Trumbull, CT, died peacefully in her home. She was born in Mansfield, CT, grew up in Bridgeport and lived her last 54 years in Trumbull. Amelia fought a long and arduous battle with Dementia. With great effort, she managed to retain her will, her faith and her dignity until her last breath. Amelia was never alone and had guidance and helping hands each and every step of the way. Amelia was predeceased by her brothers, Stanley and Walter; a sister, Stella; and her husband, Martin McMahon. She is survived by her brother, Louis Petrow of Bridgeport, CT; a son, John McMahon of Trumbull; a daughter, Catherine McMahon of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.
