Mrs. Lillie L. Jenkins, 73, widow of Richard R. Jenkins, died this morning at 12:45 at her home, 26 Bedford Street, Forty Fort, following a several weeks' illness.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Wilkes-Barre and had resided in Forty Fort 49 years. She was a member of Forty Fort Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Richard E., of Wilmington, Del.; five daughters, Mrs. George R. Taylor, Mrs. Charles Griffith and Mrs. Charles Hammonds, all of Forty Fort; Mrs. Charles Berry of Kingston, and Mrs. Louis Adolph of Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Boettger and Mrs. Emma Garrison, both of Wilkes-Barre and one brother, Irvin Meade, of Wilkes-Barre.
