Mrs. Emma Garrison, 81, of 105 North Main Street, widow of Charles Garrison, passed away yesterday morning at her home following a lengthy illness.
A native of Oswego, N. Y., Mrs. Garrison moved to Wilkes-Barre 50 years ago. She attended Derr Memorial Methodist Church and was employed from 1942 to 1952 at the Boston Store.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. John W. Scott, with whom she resided, and Thelma Garrison, Wilkes-Barre; a brother, Irvin Meade, Wilkes-Barre; one granddaughter.
Services will be held at the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 64 North Franklin Street, Monday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Swales of First Methodist Church will officiate. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call tonight, 7 to 9, and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
