Helene M. Kelly (Salansky), 89 of Hallstead, PA, passed away Thursday evening, August 18, 2011. Helene was predeceased by her first husband, William Salansky Sr., her second husband, Arthur Kelly, daughters, Jackie Eastwood and Joyce Deck, and a son-in-law, Robert Eastwood. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Dawn and Donald Davis; son, William and Candy Salansky, Jr.; son-in-law, Paul Deck; daughter Jackie's companion, Ray Austin; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her Mema, . Helene was a stay at home mom who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially loved her poodle, Harley, who was her best friend and beloved companion. Helene enjoyed taking care of her flowers, the company of her neighbors, and sitting on her front porch. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on August 23, 2011 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m., prior to the service. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
