Mrs. Margaret Peggy Auxier, age 48 of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away at her residence on September 11, 2010 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.  She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on February 17, 1962, the daughter of Dr. John W. Merrick and Carol Hough Merrick. 
Peggy was an avid motorcyclist and took pride in her ability to share her motorcycling enthusiasm with others as she helped them select motorcycle accessories that make riding safe and fun. Peggy was always willing to help others, working to organize many fund raising events. She lived up to her personal motto which was Love, Live, Laugh and Ride Safe. Peggy was proud to be a part of Bikers Riding for Awareness (BRA), a breast cancer survivor group who ride motorcycles to high schools across the state of Georgia educating Junior and Senior girls on the importance of early breast cancer detection and awareness.
Peggy was predeceased by her mother, but is survived by her husband, Donald D. Auxier, step daughter, Senior Chief Angela D. Amundson and her husband Chief Jeremy Amundson, grandson, Joshua S. Amundson of Oak Harbor, Washington; her father, Dr. John W. Merrick of Peachtree City, Georgia; brothers Dr. William A. Merrick of Madison, Wisconsin, David J. Merrick and his wife Lynn Jacobson of Madison, Wisconsin, Bryon R. Merrick and his wife Karis Haslam of Baltimore, Maryland; sisters Dorothy H. Merrick and her husband, Dr. Roger Cochran of Jacksonville, Florida and Ginger E. Merrick of Marietta, Georgia and 13 nieces and nephews.
