Mary Aumick, age 77 of Addison, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.
She was born on March 8, 1939 in Lawrence Township, PA, the daughter of the late Claude E. and Ruth E. (Heffner) Merrick. She was a graduate of Addison High School. She married William F. Aumick, Sr. on March 16, 1957 in Addison, NY. He predeceased her in 2000.
She was employed as a decorator for Corning, Inc., recently receiving her 50 year pin. Mary will be remembered for her love of flowers and birds. Her greatest joy came from her family – she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her children: Sandy (Lee) Kohler of Nelson, PA, William (Shirley) Aumick of Tuscarora, NY, Lee (Colleen) Aumick of Lindley, NY; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Claude (Gloria) Merrick; sisters: Fran (Robert) Clark, Lettie (Joe) Phillips, Joan (Don) Evingham; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by son, Paul Aumick in 2002; sisters: Betty Chapin, Dee Emerson, Evelyn Merrick, and brother, Butch Merrick
