Altie A. Miller, 74, formerly of Boise, died Thursday, March 7, 1946, at his home at Meridian, where he had lived for three years. He was a retired carpenter and farmer.

Mr. Miller was born in Clay Co., Iowa on Nov. 30, 1871 to William Thomas and Abigail Hockett Miller and he married Elizabeth Masteller Allen on February 2, 1898 in Clay Co., Kansas. They came to Boise in 1903. Elizabeth died July 8, 1938. He then married Mrs. Samantha E. Davidson November 1, 1942.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Samantha Miller of Meridian; two sons, Chester O. and Henry W., of Boise; a daughter Mrs. Amy (Newell) Wheeler, of Meridian; a brother, John D. of Pasadena, Calif., and six grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm at the Nazarene Church in Meridian, with Robison's Chapel of the Chimes in charge.

Interment will be at the Morris Hill mausoleum.
