Born in Miami, Florida to the late Clarence and Truby Hathcox Miller, Mrs. Cameron was a homemaker and had been employed at Fox Valley Printing. A member of Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church, she was active in the children's ministry and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her children, Kenny and Beth Cameron of Byron, Michael and Connie Cameron of Macon, James Cameron of Fort Valley, Julie Cameron of Fort Valley and Shawn and Cheryl Cameron of Byron; grandchildren, Matthew Cameron, Jon-Michael Cameron, Jennifer and Alex Amerson, Caleb Cameron and Dylan Cameron; great-granddaughter Kylie Amerson; and brother, Jimmie Hathcox of San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon "Pete" Cameron.
