MILAN — Services for Bennie Milan, 90, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at the St. Vivian's Catholic Church. Father Gil Mangampo will officiate. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25; and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at the Grants Mortuary Chapel.

Milan died Aug. 22 in Albuquerque. She was born Jan. 10, 1910 in San Rafael.

Milan attended grade school in San Rafael, St. Vincente Academy in Albuquerque, Sisters of Loretto Academy in Santa Fe, and was a 1931 graduate of Grants High School. She helped her late husband, Salvador Milan, run the People's Market in Gallup 1931-1941, and managed Milan Motel and Coffee Shop for many years.

Survivors include sons, Peter S. Milan and Paul L. Milan, both of Milan; daughter, Kathleen M. Hocker of Grants; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Milan was preceded in death by husband, Salvador Milan; parents, Silvestre Mirabal and Lorenzita Jaramillo Mirabal brothers, Federico Mirabal, Silvestre Mirabal, Monico Mirabal and Alfredo Mirabal; and sisters, Veneranda Mirabal,
PrudenciaCandelaria, Josefa Rosalio and Bitalina Candelaria.

Pallbearers will be William A. Hocker, Pablo A. Milan, Robert Hocker, Stephen Hocker, John Hocker, Henry Milan, Patrick
Simmons, Trevor Hocker and Paul DeBlassie, IV.

Donations may be may to St. Vivian's Catholic Church in Milan.x
