Funeral Mass for Maria Nora Marquez, 88, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta with the Very Rev. Alberto Avella as celebrant.
Interment will follow at the Seboyeta Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at the church from 6:30-7 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Final visitation will be Saturday morning in the church at 9:30 a.m.
She passed away on Sept. 1, 2010, at home with her family at her side.
She is survived by her children: Euselio Marquez and wife, Freda, Eddie Marquez, JoAnn Garcia and Betty Maestas and husband, Lee; sister: Alice Mirabal; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; caregiver: Nancy Dominguez; dear nephew who she loved like a son, Efren Romero; special friend: Ruby Marquez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her husband: Serafin Marquez; daughter: Cecilia Marquez; and son: Larry Marquez.
Pallbearers will be: Ricky Marquez, Craig Garcia, Travis Maestas, Archie Ray Marquez, Paul Marquez and Efren Romero.
Honorary pallbearers will be Louisa Sedillo, Cecilia Garcia, Sarah Barnes, Jessica Marquez, Arlene Marquez, Joyce Ortiz, Eddy Marquez and Kevin Marquez.
