She was born May 30, 1934, the daughter of Gerald and Elizabeth Durdan Cook of Utica, NY.
Betty had many friends and she appreciated them and was thankful for their friendship. They all will know who they are. She spent most of her life helping others with love and understanding, every day doing the works of mercy and striving to bring peace to the troubled world. Betty had unconditional love for all.
She leaves to mourn, her brother; daughter-in-law; cousin; sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; very much loved nephews and nieces, and her special niece and care giver; her devoted friend; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; and her beloved son, Patrick Ameen; also her parents, brothers, Edwin and Robert; sisters, Carol Hanna Van Lueewen, Claire Petronio; and nephew, Andrew Petronio.
