NISKAYUNA - Mrs. Mary Monaco Bonaquist, formerly of Hilltop Road, died Friday at the Hallmark Nursing Home in Schenectady after a long illness.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Bonaquist was a lifelong area resident.
For many years, she was a secretary for the General Electric Co. before retiring.
Mrs. Bonaquist was a member of St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church.
She also was a member of the Schenectady Women's Club.
Her husband, Dr. Mario Bonaquist, whom she married in 1938, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, James A. Bonaquist of Naples, Fla.; a daughter, Barbara Hardt of Rexford; two sisters, Irene Tucceri of Saratoga and Mrs. Julia Gabriele of Rotterdam; a brother, John Monaco of Niskayuna; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
