She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother to her loving family, her husband of 52 years, Leonard; a daughter and son-in-law, Cecilia and Andy Yaniga, Elmira; son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Ann Cericola, Pembroke Pines, FL; grandchildren, Colin, Colton, Jared, Angelina and Jacob; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Mary Fabis, Chicago, IL, Grace and Jerome Ell, and Lucy Beuler, all of Florida and Sharon Monaco, California; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was a lifelong member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott, where she was very active in the Altar and Rosary Society, RCIA, Eucharistic Minister, Lector and coordinated church directories. Theresa was a retired teacher at Our Lady of Good Counsel School, Endicott, where she was voted Teacher of the Year in the Syracuse Diocese. She enjoyed volunteering at Mom's House and helped so many people throughout her life, quietly, humbly and anonymously. Theresa will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 9:30 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott.
