Betty Ann Oettinger (Moneypenny), 83, passed away Friday, December 16,

2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.


She was born in Akron and was a member of St. John the Baptist

Catholic Church.


She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Robert E. Oettinger (Bob); Parents, William and Veronica

Moneypenny, brothers, William (Bill), Art,

Leo, Edward (Eddie), Lawrence (Larry), John and Thomas; and sisters,

Beatrice Moneypenny, Rita Schweitzer and Francis Spence. She is survived

by sons, Joseph W. (fiancee, Nancy Allie) and Robert E. (Tracy);

daughters, Beatrice Ann (John) Fonte, Lynn Rodgers, Susan M. (Rodger)

Hughes, Jennifer L. (Chad) Sonnhalter and Mary A. (Chad) Lance; sister,

Mary Gaffney; sisters-in-law, Gloria, Charlotte, Polly and Angie

Moneypenny;brother-in-law William (Bill) Spence, 13 loving grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.


Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held Thursday,

11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990

S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Deacon John Amedeo officiating. Interment

of ashes at Holy Cross Cemetery.
