"Adelita Fimbres, of Willcox, died Aug. 2, 2012 in Tucson at the age of 68. She was born in Douglas, Ariz. on Nov. 14, 1943 to Angel and Herminia (Pedrego) Montano.

Adelita was a lifelong resident of Arizona and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she served as a lector and directed the Spanish Choir, Adelita was very active in her church.

Survivors include her husband of over 40 years Jose of Willcox, her children Jose Fimbres of Tucson and Minnie Fimbres of Willcox. Also surviving are her grandchildren Joey Fimbres, Josh Fimbres and Alberto B. "A.B." Hernandez and her sisters Eva (Ramon) Altamirano and Crispina Gil, both of Tucson, and Josefina Pedrego of El Centro, Calif.; and her brothers Arnold (Romelia) Pedrego of Upland, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Rosary will be offered at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, .at Westlawn Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 Aa.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery."
