"Maria Del Carmen Montano, 58, passed away on Thursday July 3, 2014. She was born on January 3, 1956, in Bavispe, Sonora and was a Douglas area resident.

She worked as a home child care provider for more than a decade. Maria is survived by her daughters Danitza Moreno (Zarib Rodriguez), Magaly Moreno and Lynette Moreno (Ivan Ochoa); grandchildren Zarib Rahi and Thiago Rodriugez, and Ivanna, Nomar and Gavin Ochoa; parents, Loreto and Julian Montano; brothers, Julian and Jose Montano; sisters, Ana Luz Moreno, Loreto Montano, and Maria Jesus Hurtado and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and nephews.

A Rosary for Maria will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at CalvaryCemetery in Douglas, Arizona."
