Anita M. Flores, 77, of Mammoth, Arizona passed away September 13, 2013. She was born on July 26, 1936 in Oracle, Arizona to Maria and Louis Montano.

Married for 57 years to Manuel Flores, raised six children, Rachel Flores Duran (deceased), Richard Flores, Patricia Flores Villegas (Art), Manuel Flores, Jr. (Sandy), Norma Flores Lucero (Johnny) and Irma Flores Silvas (Martin). Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Arturo Villegas, Regina Villegas, Christopher Villegas, Andrino Garcia, Elissa Duran, Daniel Duran, Alex Duran, Manny Flores III, Leanna Flores (deceased), Cecilia Flores, Celina Flores. Step-grandchildren Jessica Silvas, Gabriella Silvas, Sonya Gonzales, Johnny Lucero III. Great step-grandchildren Ayva Gonzales and Johnny Lucero IV.

She was preceded in death by her father Louis and mother Maria, brothers Louis Jr. and George Montano, sister Mary Elda Flores, son Carlos Flores and daughter Rachel Flores Duran. Her surviving siblings are her brothers Richard Montano and Eddie Montano, sisters Juanita Salas, Margie Felix, Clara Torrez and Lydia Soto.

Her strong will to live and love and prayers of family and friends carried her through the 9 years of dialysis that she endured. Throughout her life she maintained a simple life. She loved gardening her many roses and flowers, watching the Diamondbacks and loved the Apache Gold Casino.

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, you will be missed.

Visitation and rosary will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, Mammoth, Arizona. Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment followed at Mammoth Valley View Cemetery. Reception to follow at Blessed Sacrament Hall.
