Hazel passed away Feb. 29, 2012. She was Kentucky-born to Grace and Homer Montgomery on Jan. 22, 1919, but became a lifelong Riverside, CA resident. She was preceded in death by husband Max; sons Steve and Randy, and grandsons Denny and Doug. She is survived by son Mike; daughters-in-law Pat and Carol; sisters Merlene Downing and Jerlene Pierson; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. A graveside ceremony will be held on June 29, 2012, at Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside, CA. Published in Press-Enterprise on March 23, 2012.
